Juventud Utopia A.C. is an organization created by young people, who believe
that utopia is not an idealized place, but a way of being and acting in
according with freedom, equality and justice. This alternative vision gave
birth to an innovative proposal to train young volunteers in technical skills
for sustainable and community development. The SOFIA project uses educational
workshops to develop the social consciousness of these youth, who bring
together thought and action to create social impact projects in the state of
Morelos, that also offer economic development for families. The project vision
unites social, philosophical and environmental concerns to create concrete,
local solutions to environmental degradation, poverty and violence.
